Gouge Away: Wave of Mutilation

Florida post hardcore quintet, Gouge Away, reveal the other half of their new single release, Consider b/w Wave of Mutilation, which also happens to be a Pixies cover, whose other song inspired the group's name. Both Gouge Away and Wave of Mutilation appear on Pixies' 1989 album, Doolittle.

"This is a fun way of getting back at people who are upset that we're named after a song title," says of the song vocalist Christina Michelle.

Consider b/w Wave of Mutilation was recorded with Jack Shirley at The Atomic Garden, and 25% of the profits from the sales of the physical seven-inch release will be donated to the International Rescue Committee.
