Dark Morph: Dark Wave

Starkly titled, Dark Wave, the experimental duo composed of Sigur Rós' Jónsi and acclaimed musician Carl Michael von Hausswolff, have just unveiled a new track, the closing piece off their coming album, Dark Morph II. The album releases May 1st, 202 via Pomperipossa, the label run by von Hausswolff’s daughter, also an excellent dark artist, Anna von Hausswolff.

Dedicated to aquatic life, the new track utilizes sounds from whales, shrimps, and boat movement captured at the Pacific Ocean.

"The exploitation of the oceans, in conjunction with the heavy pollution (from plastic waste to nuclear radio-activity) has to stop," the duo state, "and be replaced by collaborative manners co-operating with all life on or globe."
