After last year's great, Unreality, which introduced Them Are Us Too member, Kennedy Ashlyn's SRSQ project, the dreampop artist now returns with a dazzling pair of tracks, produced by herself with additional mixing by Jorge Albrecht and mastering by Josh Bonati.
Temporal Love is a contemplative and sorrowful cut on which Ashlyn's distinctive soprano is paired with the fine vocal contribution of Isabel Moreno from True Body, while b-side, Unkept, gracefully channels the characteristically ethereal 4AD sound in a similar manner to Them Are Us Too.
SRSQ is fresh off an expansive tour with Black Queen and Uniform, as well as performances in support of Cold Cave and Godflesh, while her upcoming schedule includes tours with Torche and labelmates, Drab Majesty, as well as a new album in 2020.
