One of Sweden's finest indie pop acts turns pretty sweetly grim on their brand new single, The Hospital, which finds the narrator picturing herself on the death bed in the hospital, wishing the end doesn't come quite yet.
With a heavier synthpop direction, the Swedish duo appear absolutely confident through this very concise, yet eloquent piece, which glimmers like the intelligible electropop of Ladytron and Goldfrapp, while giving every indication of something absolutely heartfelt and original.
This and Så Underbart Va Livet, which came a little while ago, attest Club 8's currently great shape, certifying that the duo's next phase after the esteemed Golden Island is overflowing with substance and inspiration.
