Lawman: Behave

This past summer Muzai Records released an overfull compilation/sampler composed of selected tracks from their catalog in celebration of the label's ten year anniversary, and their continuous support and production of DIY music. One of the new acts that stood out from it was Sheffield's Lawman, an up and coming hardcore punk trio with hip hop sensibilities, immense noisiness and endless, youthful energy.

Capping at a little over a minute and a half, the band's first single, Behave, is a grating punk cut about constraints and political correctness, finding the band in full on rage and vigor mode, and bringing them up as hopeful new blood for the hardcore genre, and a fresh conveyor of visceral poetry about some serious issues that tantalize today's youth.

Lawman are Liam Hunter (vocals, guitar), Sam Berg (drums) and Danny Turner (bass). The aesthetically matching and equally vivid accompanying video for Behave was shot by woodvisuals.
