With a bit of different direction from the artfully cinematic Someday You'll Have This Too, experimental electronica artist, Diamondstein, reveals 2nd Foor Studio, another piece off his forthcoming LP, Reflecting on a Dying Man, out October 6th, 2019 on Doom Trip Records.
Although moody as expected, the new track edges near a livelier approach, playing with repetition and machine-like sounds akin to the Kraftwerk's appealing monotony, and the daunting animation of nineties' electronica. Four singles in and less than a month from its release, Reflecting on a Dying Man is shaping up to be a really special, honest and substantial record. The album succeeds Diamondstein’s pair of collaborative releases with Sangam, as well as his 2016 album, The Ridges, and it was inspired by the coping with the loss of his father to Lou Gehrig's disease.
