Secret Shame emerge with their third stunner in a row, a little ahead of the release of their debut LP, Dark Synthetics, arriving September 6th, 2019 via Portrayal of Guilt Records.
Gift finds the band hinging on a bit of a more tuneful direction, without leaving behind the edge of their post punk and deathrock backbone. Vocalist Lena's delivery is once again incredibly fervid and an exceptional part of a piece which overall makes excellent use of its apparently tasteful influences, and in some measure puts most of the band's peers in the shade.
Secret Shame have also announced an East coast tour of the US with Thin Pigeon in support of the coming album, starting at Hopscotch Music Festival in Raleigh, a gig alongside Moon Duo, Tropical Fuck Storm. !!! (Chk Chk Chk) and more.
