Deafheaven: Black Brick

Black Brick is an impressive outtake from Deafheaven's Ordinary Corrupt Human Love, their acclaimed album from last year. The newly revealed song finds the band in one of their heaviest and more straightforward moments, showcasing a very welcome, more thrash-directed approach to their innovative, contemporary black metal.

Black Brick is fierce and resolute for the entirety of its fulfilling seven and a half minutes, and it represents one of the band's aspects of which we'd certainly love to hear more, that leaning toward a sludgier and more old school metal sound.

Deafheaven are about to go on a North American tour alongside Baroness and Zeal & Ardor, and a few dates with Gojira and All Them Witches.
