Paint Thinner: Distortion

Formed from the ashes of some of Detroit's fine underground acts, such as Terrible Twos, Fontana, Frustrations and Human Eye, noise rocking four-piece, Paint Thinner, are gearing up for the release of their debut album, The Sea of Pulp, scheduled to come out February 15th, 2019, through ŌBLĒK.

The band's heavy post punk grit mingles very well with their admirable inclinations toward obscure psychedelia, a full of character combination reminiscent of some of the legendary punks which have notoriously emerged from their hometown, but also suggestive of a more colorful, melodious sound from across the pond.

The upcoming The Sea of Pulp was recorded at Key Club Recording Company with Bill Skibbe (Protomartyr, The Kills, Jack White) and mixed by Daniel Tomczak, and the absolutely absorbing, Distortion, introduces us to the bold, slow-paced and exciting sound that Paint Thinner present on their debut, firmly establishing themselves as a significant act to watch in 2019.
