Following a couple of wonderful and vividly colorful singles, Swedish indie pop act, Alpaca Sports have just released their new full length, From Paris With Love on Spanish independent label Elefant Records.
The very richly instrumented and heartily performed Feel Like Going Home carries all of those eccentric, artful pop qualities that makes the record an intricate and engaging listen. The entirety of From Paris With Love is produced by genre veteran, Ian Catt (Saint Etienne, Field Mice and more) and it is a splendid showcase of Andreas Jonsson's intimate writing.
Melodiously catchy and reminiscent of the fine indie pop ethics of the late eighties and nineties, Alpaca Sports have come up with some of the finest material we've heard this year in this style and genre.
