Windhand: Grey Garden

2.8.18

The first piece off the upcoming fourth album by Richmond, Virginia's doom rockers, Windhand, has arrived and it sounds like an incredible fusion of doom metal, noise rock and grunge, something that makes perfect sense considering that the LP is produced by super produced and grunge icon, Jack Endino.

Eternal Return releases October 5th, 2018 via Relapse Records, and Grey Garden, the introductory single comes with a nice, freaked out, psychedelic video.

The amazing artwork on the album's cover is provided by another genre veteran, artist Arik Roper who has previously illustrated covers for heavy acts such as Sleep and High on Fire.

Get a load of this, because it shows all the signs of a contemporary doom classic.
