Kimono Drag Queens are a seven-piece psychedelic rock band from Sydney, Australia, rocking a genre fusing sound which draws from a pretty big range of influences, and posture suggestive of great, obscure hard rock bands of the seventies.
KDQ's most recent single, Acid Reign, presents a forceful sound, founded on stoner rock/heavy vibes that hover between the composition's psychedelic qualities, and its perfect, spacious production, as well as the band's expansive performance.
Since their formation in 2016 KDQ have been steadfastly earning their reputation via their tireless live presence, and 2018 finds them focusing on recording, with a couple of EPs already in the works and expected to release in the near future.
