Scab Hand: Head Dirt

If you were a fan of The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster from the early aughts, or Love Buzzard from a few years back, we have some great news about a new, gutty punk band and their strong first release.

Scab Hand are a London and Brighton-based psychedelic punk band comprised of former members of the two aforementioned bands. They have just signed to 1234 Records, home of The Buzzcocks, and released their self titled debut EP. The release was produced by The Eighties Matchbox's own, Marc R Norris.

While sticking to their punk origins, Scab Hand seem to be developing a style of their own, one that combines those punk roots, their experience with their previous acts, and crosses over to a sound that relies a lot on sixties' garage-tinged rock and psychedelia.

The EP's opening piece, Head Dirt, presents that eccentric sparkle, bright enough to win you over in only two minutes.
