Faunaphor is the new project of Louis Weeks and Noah Berman, and their new single, standing in the doorway, is the final track on their upcoming debut full-length record, And There I Was. The duo describes it as "a song about dreams, memories, and the many sides to ourselves."
The song's charming, rich instrumentation centered around the airy vintage synths and the thin percussion, meets with the serenity in Weeks' somber vocal delivery, and all the pieces come together to consolidate a peaceful but stimulating track, firmly arranged and conveying pure pop sophistication and elegance.
