Pincher EP is the debut release by Fallow Land, a not so easy to categorize duo which consists of Whitaker Fineberg and Evan Veasey.
Primarily coming out like a typical modern indie rock band, Fallow Land's newly unveiled first samples of music show much firmness, elevated by bits and pieces of post rock, shoegaze and math rock characteristics. Faux, the first single off the band's upcoming EP, is a smart and stirring track, which in all its candor and sincerity, sends out an interesting measure of oddness manifested through the song's exciting textures, rhythms and lyrics.
The Ann Arbor-based duo will release their debut EP on June 30th and they'll back it with the help of a new group of musicians on an upcoming tour.
