Today's dose of abysmal darkness is brought to you courtesy of Not Just Religious Music's latest number, a 7-inch single on which King Dude and Julee Cruise (yes! her...!) take turns singing each other's songs.
On side-A Julee performs King Dude's haunting composition, Animal, while on side-B Dude covers Cruise's most memorable song, the Twin Peaks-flavored Rockin' Back Inside My Heart, originally written by David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti.
