Chelsea Wolfe: Iron Moon

As August gets nearer, more teasers and previews of Chelsea Wolfe's new record, Abyss, will emerge.

Abyss will be Wolfe's fourth record and it now has a cover, which you can see right above, painted by contemprary existentialist painter, Henrik Aarrestad Uldalen, whose website is certainly worth paying a visit.

After last week's teaser trailer, that featured an excerpt of Iron Moon, the first track off the record we had the chance to listen to, the song can be now streamed in its entirety.

Abyss is anticipated to be Wolfe's darker and heavier record so far, dealing with "human frailty, intimacy, quiet passion, anxiety, and deep longing." As she describes it, "Abyss is meant to have the feeling of when you’re dreaming, and you briefly wake up, but then fall back asleep into the same dream, diving quickly into your own subconscious."

It drops on August 7th via Sargent House
