bdrmm: kare

From the early phone recordings and its humble beginnings as the bedroom project of Hull musician, Ryan Smith, until their just released debut single as a full band, bdrmm have come a long way. The band have shared the stage with other upcoming acts such as Trudy & The Romance, Her’s, FEHM and Horsey and seem to be gathering momentum as a very promising new act in dreampop.

About their first single release, vocalist Ryan Smith explains: "kare was written inevitably after a night out. I had gotten the wrong impression from somebody and it turned out my feelings were being taken advantage of just so they didn’t have to stay in on a Saturday night."

bdrmm describe their own style with the term "gross noise pop," yet, their airy sound comes up as a charming blend, founded on the influence from bands like DIIV, Beach House and Slowdive.

Producer and Forever Cult bassist, Alex Greaves (Trash, PLAZA, Seeing Hands) is responsible for the song's dreamlike production.
