Cannibal Animal: Grand Theft Manual

The UK punksters with such a striking band name - it makes you wonder how come no one's ever used it before, Cannibal Animal, will release their upcoming EP, Human Manuals on January 13th on the independent label Warren Records.

The band is comprised of Luke Ellerington (guitar/vocals), Jamie Hanson (bass) and Thomas Gibbins (drums), three guys who have known each other since early childhood and who instinctively grew into a band, a connection that is apparent in Cannibal Animal's sound through their brutish energy and their tightness as a band.

The EP's closing track and lead single, Grand Theft Manual, is a mad garage-tinted punk rocker with strong inclinations towards hardcore, that was pretty accurately self-described "as if someone has fed Sonic Youth’s DIY guitar sound into a woodchipper." The song is accompanied by a black-and-white video courtesy of Wes Foster.
