Anchor: Survive

9.12.14

Hailing from the metal and hardcore hotbed of Sweden, Anchor bring a heavy, aggressive hardcore sound with howled vocals and devastating mosh parts, but not without its speed and urgency. ‘Survive’ is the first single which was released 7th December 2014 and taken from their third album ‘Distance & Devotion’.

Anchor have played festivals as Peace & love, Bylarm, Millencolin Fest, Ieper Fest, New Noise Fest, Summer Blast and Fluff Fest. Have shared stages with Millencolin, The Hives, Madball and Judge and toured with Verse, Trial and Carpathian. Anchor is a full steam tour machine. Distance & Devotion was recorded by bandmember Fredrik Forsberg in Fvck Life Studios based in Trollhättan, Sweden.

The new track is melodic, with touches of heaviness in parts, overall it’s a promising start to the forthcoming album.
